This week we’ll all take a journey through a block paved with picturesque cobblestone! Introducing Cobblestone Rows by Kimations Design!

Let’s learn a little more about the square and the designer behind it!

Kimberly Saunders owns and operates Kimations Designs. Her skill at creating crochet dolls and clothing is obvious in her beautiful designs!! Her fans rave about her American Girl line and with good reason!!

You can find her all around the internet!

A few words from Kimberly!

Kimberly has been crocheting since she was 8, when her grandma gave her a hook and yarn and taught her to chain. She came back with an extremely long ch and asked what was next. And the rest is history.

Thoughts about her newest pattern, Cobblestone Rows!

The alternating sc, dc combination is one of my favorites. In Cobblestone Rows, I’ve sandwiched it between rows of sc and connected them with a row of sc and ch-1 spaces.
When I went searching for a grey yarn, I came across Red Heart Super Saver in Dove, and I love how it gives the square more of a cobblestone look.

Important details about this block from the designer:
