A few words from Angela!

Crafty Ridge is my crafts come to life. It’s an eclectic blend of fun and unique handmade items. Beginning in 2011, Crafty Ridge has been grown from a hobby to a fun and unique shop where you can get a crocheted Dwarf Helmet, a nerdy pattern or a personalized set of ceramic coasters. Being a nerd myself, my patterns are mostly geared towards geekery. What sets me apart from other artists is that I try to take my craft and mix it with fun and fantasy. It is Fiber Art made Modern.

Thoughts about her newest pattern, Rose’s Garden!

Rose’s Garden is a mix of clusters and popcorns making it not only pretty but also giving it a three dimensional design. Each flower sits up from the flat square giving a great texture.

Rose’s Garden can be created in many colors as well. Bring out the texture with red roses and blue skies.

Important details about this block from the designer:

Gauge: 25 sc rows is equal to 7” square
Skill Level: beginner to intermediate

Materials Used: 4.5 mm/ G Hook and worsted weight yarn

Special Stitches: Double Crochet Cluster, Popcorn, Reverse Popcorn

I hope you enjoy tackling this week’s block and you’re looking forward to next week’s exclusive design from Spider Mambo Designs!
