If you’ve been around HodgePodge a while, you’ve probably run across my Baby’s Best Bumpy Blanket freebie!

Babys Best Bumpy Blanket: hodgepodgecrochet.net

Up until now, it’s only been available as a pattern. However, I’ve decided to put together a short(ish) YouTube tutorial to show you how the basic pattern is worked!

Included in the video you will also find a neat tip on how to pull your foundation chain back to adjust the blanket and make it larger or smaller without having to work the math!

Before watching the video I highly recommend downloading a free pdf copy so you’ll have access to all of the important info that’s not covered in the tutorial.

My daughter texted me this site to make her this beautiful blanket, I found exact colors used in this multi colored blanket. Looking at it I am guessing maybe ten rows of solid color then you added next color for multi look for ten rows? i am thinking you used double strands throughout this pattern?
Please help me with this, I haven’t crocheted in years and the pattern is easy as I have made a sample piece already. I really want to make this the exact way in multi colors
Thank you for this work of art, hope to hear back from you soon.
