How To Crochet Eyes For Your Amigurumi :: www.hodgepodgecrochet.net

Ever wonder how to create crochet eyes for your amigurumi projects? Let me show you how in this quick tutorial!

Quick tip before you start!! If you want to make these eyes smaller, use thinner yarn. I’ve chosen worsted weight and the finished size is an inch across.

If you’d rather have a written pattern to use you can find it only on Ravelry!

These are awesome! A great alternative to safety or sewn on eyes, thanks for sharing! By the way, I loved the background music, it was very calming! ^_^

Thanks so much!! It’s always scary when selecting music so I try to go with a relaxed vibe that won’t annoy anyone while trying to read through the directions! Kevin MacLeod’s tunes are always great for that. πŸ™‚

Great video – question… How are you attaching them with the multiple colors?

Thanks so much! I’ve just used some yarn of the same color and sewn right through the eye into the head. Since you’re using the same color, it’s seamless and no one will ever know!

Awesome! I love that you have captions with your video. You have solved my problem with ami eyes…I have been trying to sew them right into the head. Now I will make them first and then sew them on! Thank you for a great tutorial!

This is great! I’m so bummed that I just found this right now because I could have used something like this for some anime-style dolls I was working on a while back. I’m saving this for next time. Thanks!

Loved it. Very easy to follow. While I was in the groove, I made a whole bunch so when I have a project, I have eyes all ready to go.

After the initial 6 sc in the magic ring…are you doing 2 sc with the black in the first 3 stitches? before changing to green? It seems like something is missing…or is it just me? Please help….I really want to do these eyes! They look awesome!

It’s all written in the pattern if you can’t follow it over in youtube. πŸ™‚
