please tell me if you are starting a stitch where you have the marker? Is the marker always in the center back because mine is not. I have wasted lots of hours on this beautiful pattern. please let me hear from you soon. Thank you very much.

If you watch through the video you will see that the center stitch kinda moves on you and the pattern accounts for that shift 🙂 Hope that helps!!

When you are counting your stitches do you count the one that has the marker in it? Thank you so much. I love to watch you crochet.

Thank you so much!! To answer your question, the marker marks the 1st stitch of the round. 🙂 So to count your round you would start at the marker and it would be number 1. Hope that helps!!

I cannot view the video because it is too long for my phone and uses too much memory. Don’t you have a printed version?

I am keen to try these but they look a little difficult . What would you say the level of difficulty would be? I know the basic crochet stitches. Would that be enough? Thx 🙂

If you are crocheting them just from the pattern I’d say they are an intermediate. If you use the video, they’re about an advanced beginner. Hope that helps!

I love the pattern! Can you tell me what small, medium and large means? Is small for newborn, med 3-6 and large 6-12, maybe?

I just found the video and will watch it. I’ve never made booties before! But am an intermediate crocheter and can tackle new and different patterns. Having said that, I have had several false starts. My biggest issue now is that the sole is curling in the middle. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong? I’m assuming that my stitch count is off, but have tried this now four times and the same thing keeps happening. I love your design better than any others I have seen!

A twisting sole probably means an issue with your tension or a skipped or misplaced stitch. Those stitches can be pretty tricky with something so tiny!! Keep trying and you’ll get it. 🙂

Hi I watched the video. Brilliantly done but I was hoping it would continue to show how to do the magic circle and the other additions on the boots.
